No autonomous deletion
It contains no automatic action that deletes writer content or source documents.
Bounded context
Only a limited amount of nearby context can accompany a writing request, and the administrator controls the ceiling.
Provider key stays server-side
Chrome and Word authenticate to Write Notes; they never receive the AI provider key.
Text retention off by default
Usage analytics can work from counts, language, acceptance and cost without storing submitted prose.
Human-controlled replacement
A suggestion replaces text only when the writer accepts it.
